NOTES: THIS CUT IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWS LNS 14911 AND IS SIMILAR TO THE FIRST PART OF THAT RECORDING. IT CAPTURES THE SONG WHICH IS TYPICAL OF THIS SPECIES AS IT SEARCHES FOR NECTAR AMONG FLOWERS. THERE IS ONE SHORT PHRASE THAT IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE NOTE OFNECTARINIA KILIMENSIS. MYLES DOES NOT MENTION THIS SECOND SPECIES. ALTHOUGH IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH THERE IS ONLY ONE BIRD, IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT THE SECOND SPECIES IS ALSO PRESENT. HABITAT: MOIST-MONTANE EVERGREEN-TYPE VEGETATION WHERE THE FOREST HAS BEEN LEFT. MUCH LAND HAS BEEN CLEARED FOR FARMING. AS THE ALTITUDE GAINS THE VEGETAION GOES INTO SOME CEDAR (JUNIPERUS PROCERA) AND BAMBOO (ARUNDINARIA ALPINA) ZONES.
