There's a wide range of opinion within the group as to what to do. Miking perspective changes several times through this track, partly to highlight different searchers' voices at different points in the discussion, partly to stay out of the way of CBS camera and independent filmmaker microphone. At one point a refrigerator turns on in the kitchen¿this gets silenced within a couple of minutes. Note: Alan pronounces pileated "PILE-ated", some other searchers say "PILL-ee-ated" 11140 IDing trees.
