Tapping noise begins. 1 :50-Some good car noises going by. Then the tapping/clicking noise begins again regularly. 2:24-Slight tweet and then been again. Sounds like a truck going by. This repeats several times. (walk signal?) 3:37-Brief chat amongst people. Sound of music in the background. 6:36-Still by the street, hearing 'knock knock knockin' on heaven's door. 10:24-ManoE ends up describing location. Decides to walk away from the traffic into pedestrian mall, looking for distinctive sounds. (lots of trucks and stuff) 11 :09-"my father' s eyes" playing in the background. 13 :29-chatter amongst people, and more music. (from the store) 17:30-Cars pass from side to side. 18:41-Manoli comments on how all the streets are named the same. It's 9:15 in a Saturday. 19:04-New audio. Guy says something really quickly about Queenslands, Islanders. 19:37-Saturday, 9: 17, King George Plaza. Cruise land Highlanders pipe band. They may/may not be tuning up shortly. 20: 19-Honks of bagpipes tuning up. (the horror. .. the horror. .. ) 23 :21-Still tuning? Or are they playing now? 25: 16-Stops playing for a moment. 25 :42-Starts playing as a group (I think) bagpipes. 30:22-Stops playing! (Manoli walking away from them?) 30:52-Stop down. 31 :00-Saturday, Brisbane, 11 :00. Going along with it. Botanical gardens. Some human noise, hopefully particularly loud 'whatever this is' 31 :33-Beginning Ambience. 31 :59-"Oh forget it, I'm coming back in the morning." 32:05-Scary sound. Manoli ... little droodies?! Sunday morning. 10 after seven. Some "quieter" traffic and the funny street things that make noise. Corner of Brisbane and Elizebeth. M/S Setup with (our friends) the Senheiser twins. 32:51-Ambience starts. Hearing the beep of the street signals quietly. 35 :21-~driving by, something being crushed, street signal ticking. 40:48-Loud truck. 41 :43-gradually getting into more bird sounds over the vehicles. 42:27-Some decent bird sounds, a water splash and some calls. [Good] 42:43-Soft talking and clearing throat from someone. CJ-I think that' s for ducks only. 43:07-Manoli: In the botanical garden getting boids. Boids boids boids, and more boids. 3:43-Loud honks from a bird. 44:00-Good bed of Ambience. 46:15-Some more very good Ambience. Brief honks. 46:39-Chorus of birds, then several different sounds. Car noise overtakes around 46:51 then fades back to birds. 47:06-Strangled squawk. More bird-bed. VG 47:50-Loud honks from a bird, varied and engaging. Goes on until around 48:10 VG 49: 1 0-Lots of good bird chorus, but sounds like vehicles in the background. VG 50:06-Strangled bird again with the background. VG 53:04-Loud honk of bird. Gradually going into water sounds. 54:11-Manoli stopping down (repeat repeat repeat) 54:25-walking away from the lagoon, still MIS, still Sunday morning. 56:00-Car moves off and the birds get really loud. 57:20-Honk like a duck.
