[The vocalizations in this recording are more variable than those in most others. It begins with what appears to be a "seep" note (0:048), followed by an A-note and a "Chit" note (0:05). The two calls at 0:07-0:08 may represent the "Sexual Dit" of BNA or the "Male Solicitation Call" of M. A. McLaren (1976. Auk 93: 451-463)? Following these calls, most of the remaining vocalizations are "Chick-a-Dee" calls, either with two A-notes followed by one D-note (0:14, 0:38, 0:48, 0:52, 0:57, 1:23) or by two D-notes (0:20, 0:23, 0:25, 0:29, 0:32, 0:35, 0:54, 1:10, and 1:19), or three A-notes followed by two D-notes (1:06, 1:16). Finally, the call at 1:04 appears to represent a "Gargle." Quality changed from 2 to 2-1 - CAM - 12 January 2005]
