NOTES: Background: CAMPETHERA NUBICA NUBICA (PROBABLE); P.S. MELANORHYNCHA. THERE WERE A PAIR OF BIRDS BUILDING A NEST LOW DOWN IN THE 'SEDGE' NEAR THE WATER. THEY WERE EXTREMELY TAME. BOTH WERE BUILDING, AND BROUGHT GRASSES TO THE NEST WHICH WAS BEING STARTED. MYLES DESCRIBES HOW HESTOOD RIGHT BY THE NEST IN ORDER TO MAKE ONE OF THEBIRDS VOCALIZE. THE RESULT WAS THE ALARM CALL OR SCOLD IN THE RECORDING.
