NOTES: CALLS AND SONGS OF C. ABERDARE: 1) 'KYAY' WAIL - USED NOT ONLY AS AN EXCITEMENT OR ANXIETY CALL, BUT ALSO, IT WOULD APPEAR, AS A SONG; 2) 'FILLIP' SONG -A COMMONLY USED SONG; 3) OCCASIONAL SHARP CALLS AND TRILLS. RECORDINGWAS MADE ON THE MAIN FEEDER ROAD TO THE FARMS ABOVE MOLO ON A GRASSY HILLSIDE WITH TUFTY GRASS, DROPPING TO A SMALL MARSHY STREAM. ON THE UPPER SIDE OF THE ROAD THERE WAS A WIRE FENCE ON WHICH MOSTOF THE BIRDS PERCHED AND SANG. MOST OF THE BIRDS WERE RECORDED ON THIS FENCE FROMA DISTANCE OF ABOUT 9M. COLLECTED 4 SPECIMENS AT THE TIME OF RECORDING, MOSTLY DOING THE WAILING CALL, ABOUT 1.5KM FROM THE RECORDING AREA.THIS CUT DERIVED FROM LNS 14356.
