NOTES: Weather: WIND; AT TIMES THE SONGLARK SAT ATOP A NEARBY TREE SINGING; THEN STILL SINGING IT WOULD CIRCLE IN THE AIR UP TO ABOUT 100FT ABOVE THE GROUND. I WAS RATHER SURPRISED TO FIND SONGLARKSSINGING AWAY WITH SUCH SPRINGTIMEABANDON SO LATE IN THE SUMMER AS THIS - I SUPPOSE BECAUSE OF RECENT RAINS IN THIS DISTRICT. SLIGHTLY ROLLING GRASSY PLAIN WITH SCATTERED EUCALYPTUS AND ACACIA TREES. 1 MALE(S)?
