NOTES: BIRD LOOKED LIKE A TURDUS PLEBEJUS BUT IT'S SONG IS TYPICAL OF THE TURDUS SERRANUS. THE BLACK ROBIN MALE NEEDS TWO YEARS TO DEVELOPE FULL ADULT PLUMAGE, BUT APPARENTLY HAS A FULL SONG AND THUS IS ABLE TO ESTABLISH A TERRITORY WHILE STILL SUB-A 1 IMMATURE(S)DULT IN PLUMAGE.
LNS: Subject changed from Turdus serranus to T. infuscatus to reflect current taxonomy. -Matt Medler, 3 April 2011.
