NOTES: Recorded on the bank of the Little Scarcies River during the tail end of a thunderstorm. To my ear, there are at least two species of frogs calling. 85¡F, breezy. At the ~44:00 minute mark a Burhinus senegalensis flew by calling; nice signal to noise. We pulled this recording and archived it separately as LNS 140989. The river was a mix of sandy and rocky bottom, with extensive riparian forest on both banks. Approximately 40m wide at camp. -10dB pads engaged on Sennheiser MS pair (MKH20/30).
