NOTES: Beh. context: UNKNOWN; Weather: WIND; A SHORT WREN-LIKE SPUTTER HEARD AT 0:06 AND 0:11 FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS RECORDING. IN RESPONSE TO MY 'SQUEAKING' THE BIRD CAME VERY CLOSE TO ME, UTTERING ITS SIMPLE CALL WHILE INVESTIGATING ME FROM A LOW BUSH. SECOND GROWTH WOODS WITH BUSHY BORDER AT EDGE OF MANGROVE SWAMP. EARLY MORNING. FROM MY VERYFEW OBSERVATIONS OF THIS WELL-MARKED SPECIES, AND FROM WHAT LITTLE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO READ ABOUT IT, THE VOCALIZATIONS HERE RECORDED APPARENTLY CONSTITUTES ITS 'SONG'. 1 ADULT(S); Sex: UNKNOWN
