NOTES: Weather: WIND; RECORDER TURNED OFF AT 0:08 AND 1:12 WHILE RECORDIST ATTEMPTED A WHISTLED IMITATION OF THE FLYCATCHER'S SONG. THIS HAD THE EFFECT OF STARTING HIM UP AGAIN. TEN SONGS FROM THE SAME MALE. BIRD FLITTED AROUND IN PLAIN SIGHT STAYING IN THE SAME MANGROVE TREE. MALE CHASED A FEMALE ATTHE END OF THE SINGING PERIOD. EXCEPT FOR HER GLOSSY BLACK HEAD, THE FEMALE IS BRIGHT BROWN ABOVE AND WHITE BELOW - VERY UNLIKE THE ENTIRELY GLOSSY BLACK MALE. RECORDED IN EARLY MORNING.
