    Equipment Note

NOTES: Recorded on tundra atop a knoll in the foothills of the Kigluaik Mountains on the Seward Peninsula. Telinga Pro6 in cut. Songs given under natural conditions. A low sound can be heard throughout that sounds like handling noise on the Telinga handle. In fact, there was an electrical problem between the Telinga Pro6 and Sound Devices recorder. Subsequently, I switched to a Telinga Pro5B and the problem was fixed.
