NOTES: A series of back-to-back MS stereo recordings in a patch of native forest on Tiritiri Matangi, a small island off the coast of Auckland that serves as a refuge for several species of birds that are either rare or extirpated from New Zealand's main islands. Recordings are mostly dominated by Tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) and Bellbird (Anthornis melanura), but also include good segments of Stitchbird (Notiomystis cincta) and New Zealand Robin (Petroica macrocephala); these latter segments have also been archived as LNS 136125 and LNS 136126.
First segment begins at 7:10 a.m.
Third segment begins at 7:54 a.m.
