NOTES: Recorded in small patch of burned spruces, maybe a few acres large. Grinding sound given from what I presume was a wood-boring beetle larva. Sound was clearly coming from the trunk of a small, burned spruce tree, about 1.5m above the ground. The tree was about 8-10cm in diameter near the base, and about 3-5m tall.
