NOTES: Recorded at approximately 230 hours on a cold, clear night. Temperature probably mid-thirties. The coyotes were stereo, remote-miked, with Sennheiser MKH 20 and MKH 30 in MS configuration. Animals were unseen, but probably 80-100m away. Despite the distance, much of this sequence is badly distorted. Habitat was eastern deciduous forest on crest of ridge near residential area (oak-hickory predominate). They may have been feeding at deer carcass placed a few days earlier near crest of ridge. HHB PDR 1000 R-DAT recorder.
