    Equipment Note

NOTES: Mid-elevation humid yungas forest. MS stereo recording of one or two species of frogs. Individuals unseen. Recorded along stream that ran through camp, just upstream from camp about 300m. Air temperature about 55-60¡F; water temperature estimated (by touch) at 50¡F. Calm, partly cloudy with bright full moon lighting up the forest and stream well. Flashlight not needed to navigate the streamside. Stream is clear water with series of pools and ripples, never more than a 1/2 meter deep in the pools, and most ripples averaging s field tapes in the LNS collection. They were transfered directly into the SonicStudios digital workstation and were never burned to disc.
