    Equipment Note

NOTES: Recordings made at 24-bit, 48kHz. While standing under a fruiting gumbo limbo tree, many birds were foraging and vocalizing including this Loxigilla portoricensis. Facial colors were not as strong as others that were observed later on this trip. I suspect this was a young male. The red in the crissum was quite noticeably strong, however the crown and throat patches were quite pale suggesting an immature bird.
