    Equipment Note

NOTES: I played back to these birds with LNS 129098 and two birds came in silently. I proceeded to make a recording of Atlapetes citrinellus (LNS 129099). The Synallaxis started to sing and I made this recording, which is all after playback (LNS 129300). This cut includes the standard two-note song, plus a couple of good examples of what I believe are the alarm calls described in Handbook Vol. 8.
