NOTES: This flock of five birds was one of two or three flocks (totaling about 12 birds) that were frequenting the coconut plantation just beyond the forest; I saw these birds quite well as they sat together on a coconut palm frond about 40 meters away, but they then took flight and flew by me (and I suspect I got onto them only in flight in the first part), and flew to another tree about 80 meters away, where I managed to get some calls by the perched birds in the latter part of the first cut; I then walked up on the birds and flushed them again, getting onto them only after they took flight a second time, initially at a distance of 30-40 meters and then as they flew off; both times they perched about 15 meters up in the coconut palms; they had been quite vocal but they became much more quiet about the time I tried to record them [clear, breezy, 73-74¡ F].
