NOTES: Initially natural song by a bird that was loosely associated with a mixed-species flock and probably 40-50 meters away and high up in the canopy of tall trees over the ravine at the end of the road just above the shelter; after quite a bit of playback, the bird seemed to come in up overhead but it did not descend from the canopy and it gave a similar song; in the second part of the recording, the bird was still unseen but now 30-35 meters away and 25-30 meters up in the tops of the large trees over the shelter; in the last part was recorded quite some time after playback, with the bird now about 25 meters up almost directly overhead in a vine-tangled bromeliad in the canopy over the ravine; partly cloudy, intermittently breezy, 82¡ F.
