NOTES: Unseen bird was initially 10-15 meters away and 3-5 meters up in the lower mid-levels when it gave its last natural song of the day, but later after playback, it was 8-10 meters away and initially 5-10 meters up, later 2-4 meters up, in the mid-levels of good forest on the slope above the road just before the shelter; partly cloudy, some breeze, 75¡ F; in response to playback, this bird flew back-and-forth across the road a few times after playback but was not seen well at this time; however, I did see it well nearby later in the day when it sang again; also natural songs by the Philydor, which was probably 35 meters away and up overhead in or near the canopy.
