NOTES: This is essentially natural song (though this species was in the distant background of the tape I previously played back to the Pyriglena in the previous cut, #2001-12-03) by an unseen bird that was 15 meters away and 2-3 meters up in relatively dense undergrowth on slope above the road in good forest with 30 meter-tall trees, the understory and mid-levels relatively open, and the canopy closed near the draw well up on the slope; minimal response to playback, though it may have approached before returning to song form the same area; two birds were singing in this area; partly cloudy, calm, 83¡ F.
