NOTES: Unseen bird was initially 10-18 meters up in the mid-levels in 30 meter-tall trees of good forest with the understory and mid-levels relatively open and the canopy closed in a ravine along the road well up on the slope; in the second part, the bird was 2-3 meters up and 8-15 meters away; the bird was in constant motion, darting all about; generally a single call, but the bird sometimes doubles the calls; no apparent response to playback, except possibly calling again after it went quiet; I did eventually see this bird and it was clearly this species; partly cloudy, a little less breezy early on, more later in cut, 79¡ F; a multi-part cut with two internal announcements.
