NOTES: When first recorded, the bird was stationary and apparently 12-15 meters away and rather high (about 10-12 meters up in 15 meter-tall trees), but after playback it began giving a different vocalization and flew right over my head and darted about without perching in any one place for very long, but generally 5-15 meters away and 4-10 meters up and only about 2 meters up at the end; some of the vocalizations seemed to have been given by a second bird; I saw the bird that was highlighted here and it appeared to be an immature male that was olive below and on the wings with a slaty-gray head and a red cap; this was in precisely the same place and probably highlights the same individual as cut #2001-09-01; mostly cloudy, calm, 77¡ F.
