NOTES: Calls and one song by a pair of birds, wiht both a male and a female seen, 15-20 meters away and 1-2 meters up and near a swarm of Eciton burchelli in moderately dense undergrowth along a stream bed at the bottom of a shallow draw along the road a short distance above the fruiting tree; in response to playback the birds sang and approached, with the inter-scapular patch flared in one male; it is possible but not likely that the rattle earlier suggested to be Myrmeciza was given by these birds instead; weather conditions same [almost fully overcast, calm, 84¡ F].
