NOTES: This bird was seen, initially foraging by sallying out from a corn stalk, 18-20 meters away and 2-3 meters up, later about 15-20 meters (2/3 to 3/4) up in taller trees at the edge of the clearing with tall grass or sugar cane amid fields in the upper part of the clearing at the mouth of a small alluvial valley; the bird was foraging quite actively but not calling much; partly cloudy, calm, 72¡ F.
ML: Background subject changed from Dendrocincla fuliginosa to D. turdina tuanayi to reflect current taxonomy. --Jay McGowan 19Sep2013
