NOTES: Unseen bird was about 12-15 meters away and low in relatively dense undergrowth along a dry draw on the slope below the road along Camino de los Espa¿oles between Los Caminos and Las Canoas; no apparent response to playback; in general the forest here was rather scrubby second-growth; partly cloudy, breeze from the east, 77-78¡ F.
