NOTES: A pair of birds, at least the male of which was well seen as it sang, moving 10-15 meters away and <1 meter above the water, often 10-20 centimeters up, sometimes on the ground, and at the edge of the water along the river about 1-1 1/2 km. upstream from the end of the road; complicating things was the face that we were drifting downstream in our boat while the birds were moving as they foraged; almost completely clear but with some light fog in the treetops, calm, 75¡ F.
