NOTES: This represents mostly calls but also a few songs of at least three and possibly four birds, two of which were singing; it was unclear whether this was a family group or rival pairs; initially natural, then after playback of themselves, to which there was no apparent response (the birds approached before playback and they continued to do so afterwards, but they never came in all that close and after coming out to the road, they moved back into the forest in the direction from which they came; when recorded, these birds were initially 15 meters away, later 5-6 meters away, and low (<1 meter up) in dense undergrowth right along the second stream where it crossed the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; I saw a female briefly, the others only as movements in the undergrowth; broken overcast, calm, 80¡ F.
