NOTES: A pair of birds, the male of which I saw reasonably well following playback, in response to which it flew back-and-forth overhead and gave the same song; when recorded, the birds were 20-25 meters away and 20-25 meters up almost directly overhead at the edge of tall, terra firme forest right at the first stream crossing [04¡ 27' 56Ó S, 59¡ 33' 12Ó W] along the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; full dense overcast, calm, 84¡ F.
