NOTES: This recording highlights the same bird as cut #2000-43-03, after limited additional playback of itself, with the owl now seen on exposed perches in two different trees, both times about 30 meters away and 25 meters up in the canopy at the edge of tall, terra firme forest; now the bird came right in with minimal playback and sat on exposed perches; for the first part, the bird was near the top of a smaller tree but for the second part it was about two-thirds of the way up a larger tree; recorded along the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; at the end of the recording the owl was being mobbed by Cyanerpes caeruleus and Heliothryx aurita; dense overcast, calm, 83¡ F.
