    Equipment Note

NOTES: This was one of two birds, recorded 10 meters away and probably on or near the ground in the undergrowth of good terra firme forest along the trail to the tower; I later saw a female of this species, but it was not the bird singing and I think this is a male song; the birds had been rattling before I began recording [mostly clear but hazy, calm, 75-76 F].
