    Equipment Note

NOTES: First song heard at 5:47:30, after which I got onto the birdÕs second song; a second bird is heard giving long calls in the background; recorded off briefly at 5:52:51, after which I missed about four songs; recorded off again at briefly 5:56:21, before beginning again at 5:58:02, with bird now about 40 meters up overhead and high in very tall tree; bird seemed to be moving from tree to tree; off again briefly at 6:05:18 and again at 6:06:56.

ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatoides to Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatoides/dorbignyanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
