NOTES: Initially natural, with unseen bird 60 m away and 30 m up; following playback, bird made several passes back-and-forth and it sang somewhat more frequently; the second part was following playback, with bird about the same distance and height; it usually flew well back into the forest but we did once see it in silhouette at a distance as it sang; this was recorded in a mixed pine-oak forest with a dense understory right at the intersection of the road to Cinco Lagos and the main park road; clear overhead but a moderately dense fog in the treetops, calm, 56-58¡ F.
