NOTES: Two birds seen as they constantly chased each other about from ground level to a height of 2 m and at distances of 8-14 m; birds were frequenting a draw with native scrub of medium density amid a coffee plantation on the adjacent slopes; one bird was well seen with its bill open; probably about 2 1/2 km. before Paval Ranch [ranch located at 15¡ 35Õ 36Ó N, 92¡ 51Õ 01Ó W, 498 m based on GPS]; mostly clear overhead, intermittent breeze, 88¡ F.
