NOTES: Bird was unseen at the time in branches with dense vine tangles, 30-40 m away and 15-20 m up (apparently at about eye-level in trees downslope); in response to tape playback, bird gave an agitated song and made a close but silent approach down to ground level, when it was well seen as it bounced about at eye-level, sometimes creeping along trunks; recorded along Sendero Finca Prussia; largely clear but hazy and with some clouds, 67¡ F.
