Media notes
NOTES: Two birds, one well seen, foraging together about 20 m away and 7-8 m above the ground on a trunk of what appeared to be a dead snag in the understory of good igap¿ forest just in from edge of a small, mostly dry Òmud bathÓ located in a depression about 50 m in from bank of river a short distance above upper end of Trilha de Dr. Haffer; the bird I saw well was a female, but this appears to represent mostly begging calls by a dependent juvenile; weather same but more hazy and warmer (82-83¡ F) [= RCR210]. Other Behaviors: Establish Parent Young Contact, Beg, Emit Alarm, Bill Drumming, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Riparian.
