NOTES: Calls of a group of seven woodpeckers recorded about 100 m from the tower and 32-38 m up in the same tall, dead snag as the Colonia colonus recorded in cut #RCR05-80; like the Colonia, these birds repeatedly returned to this snag and may have been nesting; whenever a new bird arrived or a bird shifted position these birds called and they often did spread-wing displays; they were attacked on occasion by the resident pair of Colonia; quite hazy/cloudy, calm, 82-83¡F [= RCR145; GPS coordinates in file #RCR043].
