NOTES: Unseen bird was 35 m up almost directly overhead in a large canopy tree growing right along Aguas Claras Road just beyond edge of clearing; this cut began following playback of Xiphorhynchus guttatus (copied as cut #CAR05-68), but grosbeak soon arrived and began singing near woodcreeper and then continuing after woodcreeper left; partly cloudy (high thin clouds), calm, mid-70s; split this recording into two parts with this part beginning with first song by saltator at 0:25 [= CAR121-122 (in part)].

ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus eytoni to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [eytoni Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
