NOTES: These cuts were recorded after playback of prerecorded tape (from Alta Floresta project) and human imitations of the calls; birds were unseen at the time but singing about 20 m away and low in undergrowth with many vines and palms in forest along side road that left Aguas Claras Road about 1/2 km. from clearing; I only glimpsed one of these birds (there appeared to be two), but Luciano N. Naka saw one or both later [= CAR074-075 (no recorded notes), CAR077 (in part, announcement)].
