NOTES: Seen briefly moving 2-4 m up and initially 5-10 m away, later 15 m away (after main part of voice announcement), and in lower and mid-levels not far from river bank; this was a really scrubby area right on the bank of the river about 2 km. [downstream?] from the highway and right across from the town [06¡ 4.673Õ S, 49¡ 55.078Õ W]; the growth was quite low and dense with many vines but seemingly not much bamboo; clearly a Tolmomyias with some gray in the head and a pale eye; possibly a juvenile; almost completely clear but hazy and calm with at most a trace breeze, and 85¡ F [= CAR016-017].
