NOTES: MS Stereo (Sennheiser MKH 20 + MKH 40). Perched stop a wolfberry. Wing sounds are plainly audible as the bird departs silently at the end of the recording. The vocalizations in this recording are in response to playback of a Nagra recording (LNS ______ ). Same individual as LNS 125278. The individual referred to as "Rick" in the announcement is Rick Hibbard, a AZ Fish & Game employee out of the Kingman office. Hibbard facilitated this recording effort along with local birder Richard Leibold. [Fourteen songs and song fragments following playback, apparently by the same individual recorded in LNS #125263. Species imitated here appear to include Aquila chrysaetos (0:42, 1:21, 1:52, 2:245, 2:25, 3:49, 5:045, 5:05), Callipepla californica (1:205), Myiarchus cinerascens (1:385, 5:065), Stelgidopteryx serripennis (0:38, 1:145, 2:12, 5:02), Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus (0:17, 0:50, 1:50, 3:03, 3:47, 5:01, 6:13), Salpinctes obsoletus (1:08, 1:36, 2:35, 3:12, 3:55, 4:34), and Mimus polyglottos (call - 0:305).
