NOTES: Weather: WIND;

LNS Note: Unbroken cut with internal recordist announcement/handling noise gain change (MJA, 14Feb2005).

BNA: [There are eight songs here, alternating between two distinct song-types. Unlike the dichotomy pictured in Figure 2 of the BNA account, the songs in this recording either have or completely lack pure tones. Songs having pure tones begin at 0:00, 0:05, 0:11, and 0:14, and those lacking such tones begin at 0:03, 0:08, 0:12, and 0:17. The text of the account is too weak to assess whether this is the true dichotomy in this species' songs, but the spectrograms that I have examined so far suggest that there is far more here than the subtle distinction between songs beginning with pure tones or not. Quality changed from 2-3 to 2, 2-3 (not too bad before the Cyanocitta begins calling) - CAM - 19 January 2005]
