NOTES: Male was seen well as it called from 8-10 m away and 5 m up on a horizontal branch of pine in back loop of campground; clear, 10 knot breeze coming down canyon, low 50s; unbroken cut with internal announcement. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Park/Campus/Cemetery, Evergreen Forest, Chaparral.
