    Equipment Note

NOTES: Bird was seen as it sang from 2-3 m up at top of a largely dead branch, 75-80 m (maybe as far as 100 m) away in Coastal Sage Scrub on slope south of campground; I clearly saw the bird being blown around by the breeze, which was now about 10 knots coming down the canyon. [This represents the song. Quality unchanged (2 - approaching 2-1 in places with less wind) - CAM - 21 October 2005]
