NOTES: Recorded in Coastal Sage Scrub along Rattlesnake Flats Trail on slope above Coon Creek; bird was seen before recorded as it perched at top of California Sagebrush (Artemisia californica); bird was not seen most of the time while recorded, but in latter part of the recording, it was 15 m away and apparently 1 m up in a large Black Sage (Salvia mellifera); clear, 5+ knot breeze, now apparently coming up the canyon (onshore), and in the low 60s; this cut contains an internal announcement.
