NOTES: Pair clearly seen at a distance of 1 1/2-4 m and about eye level (2-3 m up) in very dense undergrowth along trail through of willow-riparian corridor with much blackberries (Ribes sp.), etc; initially natural, then after Òspishing,Ó to which birds approached but gave similar vocalizations; moving quite a bit but not overly vocal; 10 knot breeze coming down canyon but this spot was sheltered, 50¡F, clear.
