Media notes
NOTES: A well-seen male calling as it came in to feed young at a nest 1 m up in a knothole of a large live oak in the middle of the campground; bird was initially moving up and down along trunk before feeding nestlings (when begging is heard), then again after young were fed, when it moved up along trunks before eventually flying off; bird was probably 10-20 m away and from 1 m to about 15 m up, but I did not note this at the time; clear, 15 knot breeze intermittently, mid-70s. Number of individuals=NU1+;. Other Behaviors: Establish Parent Young Contact, Beg, Care For Young, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest.
