NOTES: Bird was well seen perched 18-20 m away and 18 m (three-fourths) up large Chihuahuan Pine in middle of campground dominated by pines and live oaks; hummingbird highlighted briefly was a female that appeared large but not identified to species; it was 6-8 m away and 8 m up in live oak; clear, 5+ knot breeze intermittently, low 70s. [Twelve songs, the first of which is decapitated. In addition to having the complete "Ho-say ma-ree-ah," most songs are preceded and followed by sharper "Ho-say" notes. There is also a soft, twittering series in the background at the end of the recording (1:23-1:27) that is not described in BNA account. Quality added (2 - but with talking in background throughout) - CAM - 27 October 2005]
