NOTES: "Bird was vocalizing from unknown location in wet grassy meadow..."

[These "Clicks" are said to be given by males of the species (fide BNA). Note that this recording documents a previously unknown population in a state where the species had not been known to breed in over 50 years. Note that voice announcement for this recording indicated that it was recorded in the extreme northwest (NW) corner of Modoc County, but that for LNS #120240 clarified that the site was instead in the northeastern corner. Quality changed from 1-2 to 2, 2-3 (other birds singing throughout all series, but BEST part is before 1:30) - CAM - 7 April 2005]
